This week has been a blur. Ever have weeks where you barely sit down? That week where things don’t go to plan and you just have to lean into it before it drives you crazy?
And where does this leave how our bodies feel. Stress is very hard on our bodies but the area I feel it the most is in my stomach. I tend to ‘hold in’ my emotions and of course it makes it harder to ensure you eat well and fit in time to exercise too when life gets stressful.
I suffered from IBS for many years. Sometimes to the point where I wouldn’t leave the house or felt I couldn’t be far from a toilet. Just constantly bloated and in pain.
Did you know that 1 out of 4 women in the UK suffer from IBS and nearly every mummy I talk to have stomach concerns from bloating, constipation or a constant ‘mummy tummy’?
