Now when my client first recommended I try this smoothie I was really on the fence with it… I mean, watermelon with milk…. not sure
But it really is rather divine… almost decadent with a fiery tang.

Perfect Sunshine Watermelon Smoothie

The citrulline in watermelon has been shown to reduce the accumulation of fat in our fat cells. Citrulline is an amino acid which converts into arginine with help from the kidneys. When our bodies absorb citrulline it can take the step of converting into arginine if so required. Citrulline, when consumed, has the ability to (through a series of steps) block the activity of TNAP (tissue-nonspecific alkaline phosphatase) which makes our fat cells create less fat, and thus helps prevent over-accumulation of body fat.
So get slurping!
– Small thumbnail portion of Ginger (or more to your liking)
– 100g Watermelon (already cubed or diced, no skin)
– 200 ml almond milk
– Juice Plus Vanilla Complete- 1 scoop
– Remove skin edges of ginger but leave whole as easier to ensure well blended
– Cube or dice watermelon, you can either leave in or remove seeds to your liking
– Add ginger and watermelon to milk and Juice Plus Complete and blend.
Serve cold… over ice is really yum!
